Come Get Real With Us

Get Reals mission is to break the stigma around struggling at any point with one's mental health. In a digital world where it is easy to get caught up in others' highlight reels, at Get real we push to eradicate the pressure to be perfect! We want to dig down to what is underneath one's surface as we can all learn from each other's stories.

Get Real aspires to create connectivity, break barriers, and strive for a community where everyone feels confident in the battles they have overcome as they open up about them on a public platform in hopes to help anyone out there that is still struggling.

Madeline Brady

Get Real's Founder

Maddie Brady, Founder of The Get Real Show, started the podcast series after going through many mental health struggles of her own. After years of active alcoholism, eating disorders, and more, she decided to turn her life around, get help, and start on her journey of recovery. Once she made it to the other side, she knew that she had to share her story in an effort to make one less person feel alone with whatever they may be struggling with . Today, 4 years sober and eating disorder symptom use free, she hopes to inspire through stories, motivate through open conversations, and prove by action that recovery is possible. Maddie intends to let as many people who will listen know that whatever you are going through, you can and will make it to the other side.  She knows from experience that the process is not easy, but it is worth it. She will also highlight the tough side of recovery throughout the series as she shares every detail, strips away the false narratives, and Gets Real down to her core.
